Interior 360 images are important components of many virtual tours because they give visitors a realistic, shall we say an honest view. Trust building is what it is.
Visitors begin feeling as if they're actually on location. If a visitor has any, even a little anxiety about a real-life visit, these high quality 360 photos can reduce it.

Inviting the visitor to relax about strange new people, places and objects requires some effort on your part. Putting names on things, and describing their purpose goes a long way in calming any such anxiety.

Can you see how a tour builds trust and increases the probability of a visitor becoming a client?

Sometimes a walk-thru is better than a tour. This is particularly true in real estate when turn-over is days or weeks. It's not cost effective to do a full blown tour on a property if it's on MLS for a short period of time.
On the other hand, if your property is for a model home or a renovation and will be on your website for months or years, a full featured tour is a very effective marketing tool.
If you had a serious prospect walking thru your property or looking at your renovation in person, you'd point out all the selling points, answer all questions, describe options, and offer incentives. A virtual tour can do all that at a fraction of the cost and 24/7.
This servery for example is worthy of a paragraph.

A typical real estate tour would link rooms with navigation icons such as this arrow.
If your business places importance on innovation however, the navigation icons can be completely customized. Almost any shape, animated doing almost anything.

An excellent use of info boxes is to explain what a particular thing is. Your visitor likely won't know your business as well as you do, so now's your opportunity to inform. You gain credibility when you demonstrate expertise. In a real physical tour you'd explain certain aspects of your business, so too in a virtual tour. A good virtual tour isn't simply a walk-around or drive-by.
Example: The best time of the year for stargazing is winter. With cold air comes clear air (ie less humidity) and darkness comes earlier too so you don't have to lose sleep to see your favorite constellations. And out here, traffic isn't a concern, especially in winter. I was here for an hour and only one car went by.

Tell the visitor something interesting that isn't in the rest of your website, such as how many items you have in your inventory, or how many suppliers you partner with, or how many countries your inventory comes from.
The point is to educate/inform, or entertain the visitor. Doing so invites the person to stay in the tour ie. engagement = building trust by getting to know you.

The goal of a website is to convert website/virtual visitors into customers. To do that your website has to invite visitors to get to know you, like you (or your offering), and most importantly, trust you.
An in-person physical tour helps do that, and a virtual tour is the website counterpart. The tour should inform and maybe even entertain to keep the visitor engaged. The longer the engagement, the more a visitor gets to know you, like you, and trust you.

Have you ever got down on your hands and knees to look at a cluster of mushrooms? Have you ever seen a 360 photo like this? It's different. It's invited you to stay here longer than if it was a normal photo.
The longer a visitor stays in your tour, the more comfortable they are with the idea of becoming a customer.

A typical real estate tour would link rooms with navigation icons such as this arrow.
If your business places importance on innovation however, the navigation icons can be completely customized. Almost any shape, animated doing almost anything.
This icon actually doesn't lead anywhere.

If your business has a focus on process or change, such as renovations, or in this case closet organization, then a 'live panorama' is just the thing.
Close this box, wait 5 seconds and watch how the image toggles between a before shot to an after shot.
Could your business use such a feature?

Reachout and get in touch. We can chat about what your tour would look like and what the ballpark cost would be. If you like how that goes, I'll come in for a walk-around with you and we'll come up with a plan and price.

Tell the visitor something interesting that isn't in the rest of your website, such as how many items you have in your inventory, or how many suppliers you partner with, or how many countries your inventory comes from.
The point is to educate/inform, or entertain the visitor. Doing so invites the person to stay in the tour = engagement = building trust by getting to know you.
